Optimus

Introducing NT Labs Optimus, a highly concentrated aquarium dechlorinator and conditioner that removes chlorine, chloramine, halogens, and detoxifies heavy metals found in tap water. The word, "Optimus" in Latin translates to "the best". Optimus has been specially developed by skilled NT Labs scientists to be just that. Not only does Optimus make tap water safe for fish it also safely neutralises toxic ammonia by binding to it, making it too large to pass through the gill membranes of fish. This then allows it to be easily removed by the aquarium biofilter.

When Do I Use NT Labs Optimus?
Optimus should be used when setting up a new aquarium and during every water change. For best results NT Labs Optimus should be used in conjunction with NT Labs Satus when starting up or ‘cycling’ a new aquarium to help control ammonia and nitrite levels, thereby preventing ‘new tank syndrome’. Optimus is buffered and will not negatively affect pH or skimmers.

How To Use NT Labs Optimus?
NT Labs Optimus is very simple and easy to use. First calculate the volume of your aquarium in litres so that you can calculate the correct dosage. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, dose for the full aquarium volume and add directly to the aquarium. During a water change, add the appropriate dose directly to the new water before adding to the aquarium.
